Lil Wayne Office Music (New March 2010)

Thanks again to CG for suggesting this one. The Office theme song mashed with Weezy's "Hustler Musik." Pretty sweet combination considering I love both. The piano sample sounds kinda dope actually. Check it out for yourself.

XV - Squares (New & Unreleased)

Just a chill song, reminds me of wiz khalifa. Beat is pretty good and the flow is not bad either. You can def kick back and chill to this song. XV just came out with a mixtape as well its called Vizzy Zone.

Download Mac Miller's latest mixtape K.I.D.S.!

Mac Miller, K.I.D.S. mixtape. Prob the best mixtape of the summer for me. I think this kid is one of the best in the game. He has a chill vibe and every song is dope! Nikes on my feet, Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza, Good Evening, the list goes on. Get the Mixtape Here!

YRB Mac Miller interview & freestyle

YRB Interview & Freestyle with Mac Miller. Check It out. YRB Magazine Interview with Mac Miller in NY City on why he rapped and how he came to be what he is now. The freestyle is pretty sick as well.

Download Chris Webby's latest mixtape "The Underclassman"

Chris Webby's new mixtape, The Underclassman is out. Its pretty good and definitely worth downloading. This is his best work so far, and this kid can spit. He is more serious on this mixtape and you can tell! Download the mixtape here.

Tupac - I'm Gettin' Money (Californication) Remix

Props to CG for suggesting this post. Andrew Gentry Remix of Tupac's "I'm Gettin' Money" and RHCP's "Californication." It jams pretty hard. Nuff said.

Wiz Khalifa - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Taylor (official video)

Wizzy with a remix of Geto Boys' "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster." Smooth flow + 90's gangster beats = I'm chillen. This is supposedly gonna be on his next mixtape. Good looks.

Cee-Lo Feat. 50 Cent - "Fuck You" Freestyle

You may have already seen this but just thought I'd throw it up anyway. 50 cent freestyles over Cee-Lo Green's "Fuck You" (the beginning of it at least). He does a pretty good job keeping up with the quick tempo. I just wish he'd put more work into it and made an actual remix. It's still fun to listen to though.

KiD CuDi - Mr. Rager

Kid Cudi is on another planet, we all know that. This is a chill song which is pretty usual for kid cudi. You can def fly with the planes to this one. Kid Cudi just produces jam's and this is his latest.

The Dean's List - PlayGround

This is an ABSOLUTE JAM. My favorite song of the summer. I don't know how to explain it. ALL I have to say is listen to it and you will feel the same way.

Asher Roth - G.R.I.N.D.

These next three posts come courtesy of one of The Natural Selection's regular contributors, Giuseppe Guerriero (GG). Here's what he's got to say about this post:

One of Asher's latest songs. Its pretty dope. Chill but at the same time upbeat. Its not one of his typical funny songs. You can party or just chill to it. This is one of my favorite songs at the moment. You can rip it off mediafire. SOOO check it out.

OnCue - Time Machine (prod Chanes & Joey Fava)

One of the best samples I've heard on a mixtape, ever. Guitar riff + drums/hi-hat = AMAZING.

OnCue - Escape (prod. Emay & OnCue) HQ

I don't even need to say anything more. Look a couple posts back to download the full mixtape.

OnCue - Drunk Dialing (prod. Emay & OnCue)

Just another song off of Cuey's new mixtape. One of my favorites. OnCue has a unique ability to not only choose great songs to sample but to make the absolute most of them. Wiz Khalifa is similar in that way.

OnCue - For the Moon (prod CJ Luzi)

OnCue's new mixtape "Cuey Sings The Blues" just dropped and it is SICK!! Here's just one of many great songs from it. I recommend you download the whole thing here. This is just the first song off that mixtape! Teenage Wasteland type sample followed by some dope percussion, synths, and, of course, vocals. A great song all around, but I really recommend you get the whole mixtape. Cuey is going to blow up and this might be the cd to do it for him.

Kno - Rhythm Of The Rain f. Thee Tom Hardy & Tunji

A dark and mysterious tune. Very well-made and super chill. Kno is a member of CunninLinguists and you can tell. That group has another song called "Rain" that is very similar (and very good as well). I love the sample and we all know that Kno knows how to rap (haha). Enjoy!

Chiddy Bang - The 'Fuck You' Remix

A great remix of one of the best new songs by one of the best young rappers. It's Chiddy Bang's rendition of Cee-Lo Green's "Fuck You." It's a basic remix but it gets the job done. Up-tempo and with some fresh percussion. And as always, Chiddy Bang spits well. I can only imagine how many great remixes of this song are yet to come. 50 cent already has one (I'll post it later).

Hey Champ & The Cool Kids - (We Are) Champions

I love this song. The quality may not be great, and I apologize for that, but I highly recommend you get a hold of this song because it's an all-around great jam. It was on one of my summer mixtapes and it never got old. Whether you're driving around in your car, chillin at home, or at a party, this song is appropriate for just about any occasion. Enjoy!

Matt and Kim- "Cameras"

New Matt and Kim. Upbeat and fun to groove to. Definitely some potential for remixing and mashups here. It's a bit different than my usual posts, but it definitely deserves it.

Atmosphere - To All My Friends

This was actually the first song to drop off of Atmosphere's up and coming EP that I mentioned earlier. It's another chilled out song with a great guitar riff. Slug kills the vocals as always. If these first two songs are any indication, I think Atmosphere's next EP is going to be absolutely sick (and full of chill songs as opposed to head-banging songs). Anyway, enjoy and don't forget to continue voting for your favorite Song Cry mashup!

S-Preme - Popular

I know most of my friends have heard this song over and over, but I still gotta share it with the rest of the world. It's been out for a while but I still listen to it all the time. S-Preme has a couple of great tunes (I'll post more in the future), but this one is by far my favorite. Enjoy the upbeat rhythm and sick vocals to match.

Vitamin C ft. Jay-Z - Graduation Song (Remix)

Last but not least, it's Vitamin C's "Graduation" mashed with Jay-Z's "Song Cry." Pick your favorite version of Song Cry on the poll and we'll see which one emerges victorious.

Song Cry vs. Take A Bow Mashup

Jay-Z's "Song Cry" mashed with Rihanna's "Take A Bow." Don't forget to pick a favorite on the poll to the right!!

Jaydiohead-Song and Cry

Here's Jaydiohead's version "Song and Cry." Obviously a mash up of Radiohead and Jay-Z. I don't want to say anything more lest I sway your decision.

Jay-Z - Song Cry

Out of respect, we start with the original.

Song Cry competition! Vote for your favorite version!

This next series of posts is dedicated to Jay-Z's famous tune "Song Cry," and all of the great mashups that have resulted from it. I'm going to post 4 versions of the song (including the original) and I want all of you to choose which version is your favorite and vote for it on the poll to the right. I have my suspicions about which one will win but let's see what you guys think.
