Bulletproof - Chris Webby Feat. Joell Ortiz

Two La Roux songs mixed in one song. "In For The Kill" and "Bulletproof," arguably La Roux's best songs, make for a pretty solid sample. Not a huge fan of the percussion work or the repetitiveness of the sample, but wait for the chorus and you might change your mind.

Erik Paul - Insult 2 injury feat Olu

Solid jam. Erik Paul teams up with Olu for what can only be described as a hard rap. Great lyricism and a dope beat. Yeah it's sentimental, but Paul and Olu bring it like champs. Stay tuned for more party music to get your Friday nights goin.

Chris Webby - Nucky Thompson (Freestyle)

Straight up diss song. Chris Webby got pissed at some of the blog comments on some of his latest material and decided to whip up this biting rap. He did it in a mere 12 hours. It's actually not a bad song, but it could definitely use a little more time and production work. Sammy Adams watch out kid, Webby is comin in hot!!

Afu-Ra - Whirlwind Thru Cities

Dope classic. This song has been around for ages but I thought I'd throw it out to you guys now because Afu-Ra is a fairly unknown artist among a lot of hip hop and rap fans. But you gotta respect him. This song is absolutely amazing, especially the beat. If you ever need an instrumental to freestyle to, try this one. Anyway, enjoy this fine track on this fine Thirsty Thursday!

Nas & Damian Marley - Patience

Props to JB for suggesting this post. This is some reaaaal rap. Phenomenal beat and of course there's no one better to spit over it than Nas and Damian Marley together. This is off of their recent collaboration "Distant Relatives," which is a must listen for those who haven't heard it already.

While we're on the topic of freestyles, thought I'd throw this one into the mix. Chiddy Bang freestyles on a list of topics sent in by viewers and he incorporates all of them into his freestyle. It's absolutely dope. He does it so effortlessly and it flows so seamlessly, he's definitely one of the best young freestylers out there. Freestyle Number 2 displays Chris Webby. He is a crazy lyricist especially for a white boy! 5 and a half minutes of freestyling is hard enough, but he made it look so easy. He completely destroyed this freestyle from beginning to end! He doesn't compare to Kid Cudi, but the kid has talent!

The first is by Kid Cudi who just absolutely kills this it! He is so well-rounded, he can sing and rap. In this case he does both and its pretty insane! I wish this was a legit song!

This group Audiodax isn't that popular, but I love what they do.They rap and sing and its chill, feel good rap that fits any mood. This song Be O.K. is one of my favorite songs off their mixtape The Annexation. Audiodax is a group from Chicago and should be coming on the scene sooooon! If you like what you hear grab their mixtape The Annexation! You will def like it!

M.i - Time (The Jack Johnson Sessions)

A nice chill tune for you to vibe to while doing some work. This is off of M.I.'s "The Jack Johnson Sessions," which samples a bunch of different Jack Johnson songs. Kanye West feat. Kid Cudi Pusha T, John Legend, Lloyd Banks, Ryan Leslie...

Kanye is at it again, needless to say he assembled quite the crew on this track. This is the latest G.O.O.D Friday release and was apparently canceled earlier in the week but Kanye (always one for doing the unexpected) went ahead and released it anyways. As many of you may have guessed it comes off of his G.O.O.D. Music label. The flows are solid and typical of a Kanye tune, the hook is as good as it gets. Enjoy.

A fantastic song off of a fantastic mixtape. The entire mixtape takes samples and sound clips from Anchorman and makes great tunes out of them. This song is one of my personal favorites. For those who don't know, K-os is a Canadian rapper with a lot of talent, so stay tuned for more great music from him. New Chiddy. Not thattt great of a beat but you know Chiddy can spit. I'm not a fan of the repetitive high-pitched piano sample, but it's still a solid tune. Enjoy!
