Mike Forgette - It's Not Me
I'm from north shore mass so you know that anytime I get music from a local up and coming artist I gotta hype it. Mike Forgette hails from Gloucester, MA and has been workin hard on putting together some quality music. I've heard a lot of his material and I'll tell you right now, this kid has the potential to make it big. This song is off of his mixtape Colors, which is chock full of solid tunes. If you like this song then definitely check out the rest of his music and visit his facebook fan page here. He does a lot of local shows too so if you live in the area, definitely hit one up.
Pete Rock & InI - Step Up
Some more Pete Rock & InI for your enjoyment. Can't get enough of this kind of music. Nothing beats old school rap. Back to the roots.

Birdman feat. Lil Wayne - Fire Flame (Remix) (New Hip Hop November 2010)...
Welcome back lil wayne! I love this song, the beat get's you going and of course lil wayne's verse is great. He is so creative and even though he isn't insanely lyrical he can rap on any kind of beat and make that song a hit. I am currently blasting this as loud as it can possibly go, and if you listen to this song I suggest you do the exact same thing. Unfortunately, Birdman is on the beat as well, I have to say he might be the worst rapper! Thank God Lil Wayne is on the remix because he definitely saves this song and makes it worth listening to. God I love LIL WAYNE!

Girl Talk - This is the Remix
Diggin this mix right here. That's the end of the Girl Talk posts, grab the whole album on the website free of charge. Here's the link again: http://illegal-art.net/allday/
Girl Talk - Oh No
Opening track off the All Day album. Between this intro and the beginning of Play Your Part (Pt.1) its safe to say that Girl Talk knows how to kick on an album.
Girl Talk - Triple Double
As some of you may already know Girl Talk just released a new album yesterday titled All Day. Mr. Gillis picks up right where he left of with Feed the Animals; this album is just plain fun to listen to. It is meant to be listened to as one continuous stream and the download is available as one 72 minute-ish track. Thankfully, it is also available in shorter clips and I'll post a few of my favorites here. Go to http://illegal-art.net/allday/ to download the full album for FREE!

Lissie - Kid Cudi live cover - Pursuit Of Happiness
In general I love the new electronic sounds that have taken over the music scene in recent years. I'm a big fan of Ratatat, MGMT, Passion Pit, of course T-Pain, and many more. However, there is something to be said for doin it a little more old school. I know everyone here is a KiD CuDi disciple so I figured this non-hip hop post would be acceptable. Lissie and her crew do a great job with this cover; between the more subdued instrumentals and Lissie's strong vocal's the excellence of the original songwriting is really able to shine.
Pete Rock & InI - Grown Man Sport
Make sure you're listening to these on speakers with some good bass (i.e. not laptop speakers). These tunes are soo good.
Pete Rock & InI - KrossRoads
#3 in the series. Soo great for coolin out. If you blaze you'll especially love this series.
Pete Rock & InI - Center Of Attention
Here's song #2 from Pete Rock's "Lost & Found Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics." Quite an appropriate name for this CD. Just about every song on it is an amazing underground classic that no one has heard of. Get to know it.
Eminem - Space Bound [HQ + Lyrics]
Eminem has been producing a ton of great songs lately, and this is the latest of the series. Some heavy lyrics but the chorus is incredible and it blends so perfectly. Eminem's still got it.
Pete Rock & InI - What You Say
Amazing CD!! You've all heard The People Under The Stairs's "Acid Raindrops." Well, here's a better version by Pete Rock and InI. I'll be posting several songs from this CD because it is absolutely amazing for just chillen out to. I hope you like it!

GOLDFISH - FORT KNOX (OFFICIAL)
Here's a second sample of what Goldfish has to offer. The video is fun to watch and the song is again pretty catchy. See if you like it.
Goldfish - Cruising Through
Thanks to CG for the suggestion. This group is a little bit different from what we normally post but they have some really catchy tunes that are definitely worth a listen. Stay tuned for more.
M.i - These Ideas (The Jack Johnson Sessions)
A nice Jack Johnson sample makes for a catchy, feel-good tune. I'm really diggin this song right now. M.i. is not a widely known artist but his recent mixtape "The Jack Johnson Sessions" was really solid and definitely deserves a good listen. His laid-back flow matches perfectly with Jack Johnson's smooth vibes. Enjoy.
Kid Cudi - Ashin Kusher
This has a completely different tone than the other two songs I posted. His flow is ridiculous, and this is a for sure head-bobber. He is known for having extremely catchy hooks, and this exemplifies that. I don't know what else to say except BUY THIS CD! I hope you enjoy.
Kid Cudi - All Along
This might be my favorite song on the CD. It's very catchy and again dark, but very mellow. Not much rap, but great singing, which he has shown he can do. Bump this and I guarantee after the second time playing it, you will be singing it!
Kid Cudi - GHOST!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, SCHOOL ( soccer) has been crazy. Since Kid Cudi's CD came out today, I am going to dedicate the next few songs that I post to Man On the Moon II. The CD takes some time getting used to, but after a few plays the entire CD is on constant repeat. This song is dark and rather ominous, like most of his cd. If you blaze I suggest smoking to this, its trippy! I love Kid Cudi and he further solidified himself as one of the best out!

The ILLZ - Cover Me (I'm Going In)
Real nice La Roux sample ("In For The Kill"). The ILLZ kills it on the lyrics too. The beat is intense/serious but easy to vibe to. Enjoy!
Na Palm-Time to rise [Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats]
Really loving this song off of Na Palm's latest mixtape "Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats." It's got some fantastic guitar work (which Na Palm does himself) and some serious lyrics. Wait for the chorus, it's my favorite part for sure.
Kanye West - Gorgeous (Feat. Kid Cudi & Raekwon) Full Version
More solid tunes from Kanye, Cudi, and Raekwon. Enjoy this one when you're chillen out.

Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On [OFFICIAL AUDIO]
Thank you to JB for this post. Lupe kills it on this track. He samples Modest Mouse's "Float On" and gives it a nice upbeat, pitched-up touch. I've been getting worried about Lupe because he hasn't been coming out with great music lately, but this song clears up any doubts I had.. Lupe's back!
Sunday, October 31, 2010
Bluer Skies (Feat. Smokahantas) - Chris Webby
Webby's mixtape "The Underclassman" has been out for a while now but this song has continued to grow on me the more I listen to it. It's got a slow, passionate vibe to it and a real nice hook with female vocals. Great for chillen out.

Janelle MonĂ¡e - Tightrope [feat. Big Boi] (Video)
This is the first I've heard from Janelle Monae and I must say, I'm quite impressed. No doubt I'm also diggin the Big Boi appearance in the middle of the track. Awesome unique sound; it's got some funk to it but with a classic feel (who knows, it might be tuxedos).
Tightrope (Wondamix) [Feat. B.o.B and Lupe Fiasco]
As with most good songs that come out these days, they didn't take long to roll out a remix. B.O.B and Lupe both do an awesome job on this track, layin down some of the best verses I've heard from each of them lately. Monae shows off her rapping talent here and drops a fantastic verse herself. Many think of Nicki Minaj to be atop the female rap game; in my humble opinion Monae puts her to shammeee. Also, the guitar riff was a great addition.
Lil Wayne - 30 Minutes to New Orleans
So Lil Wayne gets out of jail in a few days, and I assume this can only mean one thing...a ton of lil wayne music is going to be released prior to his cd release. Expect Lil Wayne's the Carter 4 to be the best c.d. he has ever made, simply because he hasn't been able to produce music for the past year. Lil Wayne is the best rapper and even in jail still finds a way to remotely popular. This song 30 minutes to New Orleans must be BUMPED with extreme bass and a ton of volume! Free WEEZY!

Wiz Khalifa - Superstar
Lately, I have been real into wiz khalifa's music. Out of the masses, this song has been the song of choice for the past few days. Taylor Gang or Die! He is on the rise as everyone knows, and is expected to come out with a new cd in early 2011. FLY WITH THE PLANES.....HAHAHA!
Blue Scholars- Sagaba
Amazing song!! Please listen with good speakers (at least nice bass), otherwise you will do this song an injustice. The beat is so catchy, it's insane. If you enjoy freestyling, give this beat a shot, you'll spit for days. The Blue Scholars have been around for a while by I'm only now truly appreciating how nasty they are (originally I thought they only had a few good hits, but I was completely wrong). Enjoy!!

Rihanna - What's My Name ft. Drake
There can't be a better collaboration at this present time... maybe Bonnie and Clyde or Sunny and Cher? Drake is unreal per usual and Rihanna is on every hit I can think of this year. This song is so catchy and I have to admit is possibly my favorite song at the moment. It's perfect for any scene, partying or not. Im actually listening to this song right now! And all I can say is Ohhh nah nah What's my name!

Wale - Beautiful Bliss (ft. J.Cole & Melanie Fiona)
Lovin this song right now. It's been out for a while but it's one of my all-time favorite Wale songs so I had to pay homage. He puts out some of the best lyrics and J. Cole contributes solid bars. Melanie Fiona on the hook brings it all together. Complete jam.

Frisbee- Abstract Rude & Tribe Unique
This song has been one of my favorites for a long time now and I think its time to share it with the world. It features Slug, Eyedea, LMNO, 2mex, Busdriver, and Zololanxio. Lyrically speaking this song has incredible flow. Although I'm not too familiar with the last few artists I consider Slug and Eyedea as among the best lyricists in the game today. So study up and get familiar...quiz next week.
Big Boi - ShutterBug (ft. Cutty)
This track comes off of Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, the debut solo album from OutKast's Big Boi. The energy that Big Boi bring is undeniable and the baseline is excellent. I don't know about you but after this track all I can hear in my head is ... baba bababa bababababooom. So turn up the base and let it bababump!
David Guetta - Memories (Featuring Kid Cudi)
After that last post it occurred to me that I don't think I ever posted the song "Memories" that I mentioned. Well, here it is. I'm sure you guys have heard this one around at recent parties, it's another awesome party/dance tune from David Guetta that features Kid Cudi on vocals. It's really well done, a catchy piano sequence and some solid synth work to complement Cudi's singing/vocal hoo-hoo's. Enjoy!
We no speak americano (Remix, David Guetta)
I figured since the last post is such a popular song I should introduce a nice remix that is equally dope. This is David Guetta's mashup of "We No Speak Americano" and the song he did with Kid Cudi, "Memories." It mixes quite well, and makes for another great party song for everyone to vibe to.
Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - We No Speak Americano
I'm sure you've all heard this at least once or twice at parties recently. Thanks to CG for suggesting I post it. It's a great party/dance song, plus the video is fun to watch. This is the extended version. Enjoy!

T.I. Feat. Chris Brown - Get Back Up
So T.I. is going back to jail for violating his probation. He's got 11 months as of right now. I'm amazed that with all that going on he can still produce solid tracks like this one. The lyrics are of course very fitting and optimistic. The release of his next album King Uncaged will remain unscheduled until T.I. can "Get Back Up." Here's more from ABC News on the story:
Grammy-winning rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison on Friday for violating the terms of his probation. The 30–year-old hip-hop star was arrested in September on suspicion of possession of the drug Ecstasy.
T.I., whose real name is Calvin Harris, sought leniency in the case as prosecutors pushed for a two-year sentence, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“I screwed up. I screwed up big time and I am sorry,” Harris said before U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell. “I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”
Harris faced a potential 30 years in prison for federal gun charges in 2007 when he was arrested following the Black Entertainment Television awards. He paid a $100,000 fine and was sentenced to one year in prison after completing 1000 hours of community service while under house arrest.
Kanye West - Take One For The Team feat Keri Hilson, Pusha T & Cyhi The ...
In keeping with our tradition of posting all the G.O.O.D. Friday tunes, here's the latest from Kanye, Pusha T, Keri hilson, and Cyhi The Prynce. It's not my favorite of the bunch but it's still a good listen. Some nice beatboxing and electronic tones. Enjoy.
It's The Dean's List - No Sleep ft. Dani Ummel
Second Single from the Dean's List on there soon to be released mixtape "The Drive In". This song has some great sampling and features the up and coming artist Dani Ummel. Dean's List is not extremely popular, but the group is quality! More to come from them so stay tuned!

Papoose - born in new York city ft James Brown
Thank you to JB for suggesting this post. This is another classic jam that samples James Brown perfectly. Make sure you can listen to this on good speakers because it makes all the difference. Papoose throws down over one of the sickest beats/samples. Enjoy!
Damian Marley-Stuck In Between
It's a classic but just thought I'd bring it back because I'd forgotten about this jam until now. Throw this on at your parties tonight and you're guaranteed to get everyone dancing/vibing. It's a complete jam with the catchiest beat. Enjoy and happy friday!!

Huey Mack | Popular (Promo Vid)
Another Popular remix. Not my favorite of the bunch but Huey Mack puts a lot of effort into his lyrics so I gotta respect that. I just love the beat/sample. It's so poppy and fresh.. not to mention incredibly catchy.
Ratatat - Loud Pipes
Most of you have probably heard this song before but I've been listening to it a lot lately and thought I'd share it anyway. It's absolutely amazing. Perfect for any occasion: raging, chillen out, doing work, etc. It's impossible not to love this song.. by far my favorite Ratatat song of all time. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!!
Wiz Khalifa - Know Your Name
Wiz is back ladies and gentlemen. Lovin this beat right now. It's smooth and laid back, which is a great match for Wiz's flow. Download this one for free here. I really hope Wiz keeps this kind of music coming, it's so much better than some of the other stuff he's been putting out lately. Happy thirsty thursday everyone!
Trey Palms- So Right
A nice mellow, chill song for you to enjoy before getting rowdy. I like the flow that Trey Palms puts out, and he puts a lot of work into producing his beats. Hope you guys enjoy it because I'll probably post some more from him soon.

G.O.O.D. Music Family Cypher - BET Awards
I love it when some of the biggest names out there join forces. Found this dope "freestyle" on GMAD, so I'll let them do the talking here:
I don’t know how many of you remember this from last year, but B.E.T. brought together everyone who is anyone to ‘freestyle’ like the old days of hip-hop. Basically Eminem made people look stupid last year with his verse. Anywho… they did the same thing this year. Here is the G.O.O.D. Music Family Cypher.

KAM Royale - Life & Times
A nice mellow tune from KAM Royale. He's been putting a lot of work into a new mixtape "Business As Usual," which will drop November 13th (his 20th birthday). Stay tuned for more on that.
Sam Adams - Still I Rise (Feat. G. Curtis)
Sam Adams has succeeded in being the next suburban white rapper to blow up. Asher Roth did it first and he has made it. Sam Adams is surely on his way and this song exemplifies that. I love the chorus, his versus', and G Curtis, a fellow label mate of Sam Adams. Everything about this song screams JAM! More to come from this guy for sure so stay tuned. This is a must download song so get it here!
50 Cent - They Burned Me ( HOT - NEW - CDQ - DIRTY - NODJ - MASTERED - S...
I don't know when the last time I have actually enjoyed a 50 cent song. I'm not saying that this song is amazing, but it's actually something produced by 50 cent that I can listen to. The song has a good sample and for the first time in a while it sounds like 50 cent has some anger in his voice. Hope y'all enjoyed your Columbus day weekend! Now hopefully this weekend will come as soon as possible!
Monday, October 11, 2010
Righteous MIc - Play Along
A fairly unknown artist but an amazing feel-good song and a fun video. Perfect for recovering after a long weekend. Some real nice turntable work and a solid piano sample. Props to Righteous Mic, hope we hear more from them soon.
Sunday, October 10, 2010
Samuel - I Heart NY (Remix) Feat. Joell Ortiz
Dope trackkk!! Samuel does a remix of "I Heart NY" featuring Joell Ortiz and takes it to the next level. I don't exactly heart NY (red sox fan, after all) but this song sure makes me want to. A bumpin beat and great chorus. Enjoy!
Kno - Not At the End (Feat. Tunji)
Kno of Cunninlynguists fame puts together a solid track. The hook is real nice (featuring Tunji), the beat is dope, and Kno kills the verses. Enjoy this while your chillen.
Child Rebel Soldier (Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Pharrell) - Don't Stop
G.O.O.D. Friday
Not my favorite of the series but still a good song. Kanye, Lupe, and Pharrell team up on this track. Enjoy the long weekend everyone!
Friday, October 8, 2010
Like A G6 (Disco Fries Remix vs Video Dj Crush) - Far East Movement
Here's your Friday night club banger. Disco Fries puts together a bumpin remix of Far East Movement's classic party tune "Like a G6." Video courtesy of DJ Crush. Party hardy!
DJ Kontrol & Lil Jon- What A Night
DJ Kontrol and Lil Jon bring it on this Journey mash. The song features Claude Kelly on the hook. Not a bad party song - combines a classic sing along with some modern hip hop. Happy Friday errybody!
Bulletproof - Chris Webby Feat. Joell Ortiz
Two La Roux songs mixed in one song. "In For The Kill" and "Bulletproof," arguably La Roux's best songs, make for a pretty solid sample. Not a huge fan of the percussion work or the repetitiveness of the sample, but wait for the chorus and you might change your mind.
Erik Paul - Insult 2 injury feat Olu
Solid jam. Erik Paul teams up with Olu for what can only be described as a hard rap. Great lyricism and a dope beat. Yeah it's sentimental, but Paul and Olu bring it like champs. Stay tuned for more party music to get your Friday nights goin.
Thursday, October 7, 2010
Chris Webby - Nucky Thompson (Freestyle)
Straight up diss song. Chris Webby got pissed at some of the blog comments on some of his latest material and decided to whip up this biting rap. He did it in a mere 12 hours. It's actually not a bad song, but it could definitely use a little more time and production work. Sammy Adams watch out kid, Webby is comin in hot!!
B.o.B - Magic ft. Rivers Cuomo [Official Music Video]
This is the official video of B.o.B.'s latest hit "Magic." Props to CG for suggesting this post. It's a classic hip-hop tune with a great sing-along chorus, perfect for any party situation. B.o.B. is completely blowing up and it's easy to see why. Enjoy this one while you're out and about tonight.
Afu-Ra - Whirlwind Thru Cities
Dope classic. This song has been around for ages but I thought I'd throw it out to you guys now because Afu-Ra is a fairly unknown artist among a lot of hip hop and rap fans. But you gotta respect him. This song is absolutely amazing, especially the beat. If you ever need an instrumental to freestyle to, try this one. Anyway, enjoy this fine track on this fine Thirsty Thursday!
Wednesday, October 6, 2010
Nas & Damian Marley - Patience
Props to JB for suggesting this post. This is some reaaaal rap. Phenomenal beat and of course there's no one better to spit over it than Nas and Damian Marley together. This is off of their recent collaboration "Distant Relatives," which is a must listen for those who haven't heard it already.
Will Smith - 'How We Do' Freestyle (Radio 1 - Tim Westwood)
Freestyle #3 presents Will Smith. Yes, I said Will Smith! Remember Summertime? well he is back at it with Tim Westwood. I wish you could actually see him in the booth, but needless to say like anything Will Smith does, he brings it!
Tuesday, October 5, 2010
Chiddy Bang - "Don't Worry Be Happy" (Bobby McFerrin Cover)
While we're on the topic of freestyles, thought I'd throw this one into the mix. Chiddy Bang freestyles on a list of topics sent in by viewers and he incorporates all of them into his freestyle. It's absolutely dope. He does it so effortlessly and it flows so seamlessly, he's definitely one of the best young freestylers out there. This is part of his Mashup Monday series, which has been a real treat. For more info on this, click here. There's also a little interview at the end of this video so check that out too!
Chris Webby "TheMaskedGorilla.com Epic 5 Minute Freestyle"
Freestyle Number 2 displays Chris Webby. He is a crazy lyricist especially for a white boy! 5 and a half minutes of freestyling is hard enough, but he made it look so easy. He completely destroyed this freestyle from beginning to end! He doesn't compare to Kid Cudi, but the kid has talent!
DJ Enuff-Kid Cudi Asher Roth Freestyle on ALISTRADIO.NET Part 1
I know we usually just post songs, but I wanted to do something different, and put up some live freestyles of the best rappers in the industry. The first is by Kid Cudi who just absolutely kills this it! He is so well-rounded, he can sing and rap. In this case he does both and its pretty insane! I wish this was a legit song!
Trey Palms ft. Jack Johnson- Island Flake
A great, laid-back track for your listening pleasure. Trey Palms samples Jack Johnson's "Flake" and drops some solid lyrics over it. Download the track for free here.
Be O.K. - AudioDax
This group Audiodax isn't that popular, but I love what they do.They rap and sing and its chill, feel good rap that fits any mood. This song Be O.K. is one of my favorite songs off their mixtape The Annexation. Audiodax is a group from Chicago and should be coming on the scene sooooon! If you like what you hear grab their mixtape The Annexation! You will def like it!
Monday, October 4, 2010
M.i - Time (The Jack Johnson Sessions)
A nice chill tune for you to vibe to while doing some work. This is off of M.I.'s "The Jack Johnson Sessions," which samples a bunch of different Jack Johnson songs. This is one of my favorites, it contains interpolation of "If I Had Eyes" from Jack Johnson's "Sleeping Through The Static." Download the whole mixtape for free here.
Kanye West feat. Kid Cudi Pusha T, John Legend, Lloyd Banks, Ryan Leslie...
Kanye is at it again, needless to say he assembled quite the crew on this track. This is the latest G.O.O.D Friday release and was apparently canceled earlier in the week but Kanye (always one for doing the unexpected) went ahead and released it anyways. As many of you may have guessed it comes off of his G.O.O.D. Music label. The flows are solid and typical of a Kanye tune, the hook is as good as it gets. Enjoy.
K-Os - Beauty Is A Loaded Gun + Free (The Anchorman Mixtape) Link
A fantastic song off of a fantastic mixtape. The entire mixtape takes samples and sound clips from Anchorman and makes great tunes out of them. This song is one of my personal favorites. For those who don't know, K-os is a Canadian rapper with a lot of talent, so stay tuned for more great music from him. In the meantime, listen to the rest of this sick mixtape and download the whole mixtape for free here!

Smoke DZA - Always Been (The Smokers Club) Feat. Mac Miller
New Mac Miller! This time teaming up with Smoke DZA for a chill song that's just great for kickin it or listening while doing work. I love what Miller has been doing lately, and I'm excited to hear some of his new material. Based on this song it looks promising.
Old Ways - Chiddy Bang
New Chiddy. Not thattt great of a beat but you know Chiddy can spit. I'm not a fan of the repetitive high-pitched piano sample, but it's still a solid tune. Enjoy!
S-Preme - Shoppin
Great new S-Preme. From the guy who brought you one of my favorite songs of the summer ("Popular") comes another chill tune for you to vibe to. This comes off of S-Preme's new mixtape "The Sicktape: Volume Two." Let me know what you think. I perforated both of my eardrums this weekend but hopefully that will not affect my music selections!
Friday, October 1, 2010
Na Palm - NA-Tliens
Gotta love the sample. ATLiens is one of my favorite songs of all time and Na Palm does the original justice. He spits some great verses and it makes for a great party song. Here's what he has to say:
Fresh off of 25 city national September tour, first day i got back in
the lab, I felt like throwin some ol school hip hop love to ya on one
of my fav Outkast beats..killed it too.

Loggy - Sun Setter
It's a summery track but you can vibe to it any time of the year. Loggy's "Sun Setter" is just a feel-good, laid back tune for chillen and kickin it. Loggy has some really good music out there, and he's coming out with more soon so stay tuned for that. Let me know what you think.. rate and comment.
Jay-Z and The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Who doesn't love Jay-Z and RHCP? Who doesn't love them on the same track?! Enjoy this mashup between RHCP's "Scar Tissue" and Jay-Z's "99 Problems." Not sure who to credit with the editing but it's a solid job. Download this song for free here.
Hulk Mash - Ellie Goulding vs. Jackson 5: I Want You Starry Eyed Mashup
Phenomenal mashup! One of the best I've heard in a long time. This one combines Ellie Goulding's "Starry Eyed" with the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." The track was done by Hulk Mash, an extremely talented mashup artist who is definitely going places if he keeps this stuff up. This tune has been out for a while but I had to post it because it's absolutely amazing. Perfect for dance parties and raging. Happy Friday everyone!
Sam Adams - Just Sayin'
Either this guy is loved or hated. I personally love this guy, he makes jams and good party music. This song is another jam that is PERFECT for pregaming and partying. Easy to sing along to and bump your head to. It's Thirsty Thursday and I am pretty NICE right now. Enjoy this song and your night!

Bama Boys - Sweet Home Alabama (Rap Remix)
Oldie but goodie. So I've been listening to my iTunes on shuffle for a while and every time this song comes on I find myself completely jamming out. Obviously a great sample and even better percussion work. Blast this one to get your Thursday night parties bumpin.
Not The Sideburns (Bed Rock Mashup) by DJ Abunai
Another amazing mashup by DJ Abunai. He's definitely one of my favorite mashup artists out there, and you'll understand why once you listen to this. Check out some of his earlier materials, especially the "I'm Yours Forever" mashup (check the post archives). This song blends a bunch of great dance/party songs pretty well. The beginning is definitely my favorite part. Happy Thursday (it's the new Friday, right?). Get after it.
Tinie Tempah Ft. Ellie Goulding - Wonderman
British rapper Tinie Tempah recently came out with a mixtape "Disc-Overy" that's got a couple good tunes on it. This is just one from that tape. It's not incredible but it's not terrible. Ellie Goulding is featured on the track, and she does a great job with the chorus. Tinie certainly has potential, but he's not at the top of my list of up and coming artists.
Brenton Duvall - That Tree (Snoop and Cudi vs The xx)
Not a bad remix from Brenton Duvall. He's been coming out with a lot of new remixes lately, some of which are great and some of which aren't so great. He does a good job on this one, though it's a simple beat and a little repetitive. Let me know what you think.
Ben L'Oncle Soul - Seven Nation Army
A pretty sweet soul/jazz cover of a classic song. This guy can really sing. Don't know much about him but he's got some great music out so check him out on YouTube if you like what you hear.

Notorious B.I.G. - Can I Get Witcha (Con Te Partiro Remix)
I love this song. It samples Adrea Bocelli's famous opera "Con te Partiro." The sample doesn't loop perfectly but it doesn't matter. I love the chorus and the bass drop most of all. And you can't loose with a Biggie verse. Play it on nice speakers and you'll see why I like it.
Young Scolla - Wonderful
A nice mellow song to put you in a good mood. Young Scolla does a great job choosing the sample and matching it perfectly with the beat. Plus he can spit like a champ. Enjoy this one while coolin out.

Big Z Remixes - Forever (Feat. Kanye West and Lil' Wayne)
This one has been around a while but it's a classic. Big Z Remixes puts a completely new spin on "Forever." Kanye and Wayne spit fire over a simple but very catchy beat. Nuff said, give it a listen.

Lil Wayne - Bill Gates
Numero 4. "Bill Gates" is just classic Weezy, spittin over a simple beat. Not the highest quality, but you still get the gist of it. Enjoy this with your Sunday night football.
Lil Wayne Feat. Nicki Minaj -- What's Wrong With Them Lyrics
Nicki Minaj joins Weezy on this one, and she does a great job on the chorus. Weezy spits fire as always. Sorry about the tags, all the other videos were removed from YouTube. Enjoy this one while it lasts!
Lil Wayne - That Aint Me (Feat Jay Sean)
Number two: "That Aint Me (ft. Jay Sean)." Can't wait for C4 to drop.
Lil Wayne - With You feat. Drake
You're about to be hit with a ton of new Wayne. All of these are leaks off of Wayne's new album "I Am Not A Human Being." Here's the first: With You featuring Drake. This one is probably my favorite of the bunch. Solid chorus, classic Weezy flow, and Drake make for a great tune.

T-Flo - Time to Fuck'd Up (Feat. Jilla Storm)
Blast this song to get your party goin!!!!! T-Flo and Jilla Storm collaborate on this absolute party banger. Definitely requires some serious speakers to do it justice. This song is guaranteed to get people PUMPED UP!!!! Happy Friday everyone!! Time to get f@$&ed up!
Kanye West - Good Friday feat. Common, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Big Sean & Cha...
Too many big names on this track not to post it. It's a complete jam. Kanye has been coming out with tracks like this on the reg and I love it! This one's been around for a little while but it's still pretty new and I just realized how absolutely dope it is. Enjoy it!!
Passion Pit - Little Secrets
Lately I have been listening to a lot more of Passion Pit. I love the main singers voice it is so different. They represent Boston as well, which is always a plus. Any way this song is trippy, but at the same time feel good. I would party to this song without a question! I hope you listen and feel the same! Feels good to almost be the weekend as well, so hopefully these next few song help put you in the same mood I'm in.

Phoenix - 1901 (US Version)
Not a rap or hip hop song, but a feel good jam. Its kinda old, but I'm listening to it now so I thought I would share it with all of you!

Wale - freaks (bird peterson remix)
So for like a week straight my boy Ian constantly hit me up saying I must listen to this song. It took me a few times to get into it, but now its on the top of my list to listen to. Its chill and wale always brings freshness. YO IAN this ones for you man haha!

OnCue - News For You (prod. CJ Luzi)
Again another one of my favorite songs. Oncue is so good and he uses a lot of alternative rock songs and mixes them with some rap beats. He produces jams. I think every one of his songs on his newest mixtape's Cuey Sings the Blues, is unreal. I have not stopped bumping his mixtape and won't stop until someone else comes out with something remotely close to his!

e-dubble - No Doubt feat. Carlos Ferragamo (Freestyle Friday #33)
Love this freestyle and the beat. E-dubble and Carlos Ferragamo team up on #33 of e-dubble's weekly Freestyle Friday. Make sure you listen on good speakers.

Lil Wayne - Gonorrhea feat. Drake
Get excited for The Carter 4!! This is some new Wayne. It's not that good really but I just wanted to keep everyone up to date on Wayne's latest stuff. This is from Wayne's soon-to-be-released "I Am Not A Human Being."
Bruno Mars - Liquor Store Blues (Ft. Damian Marley)
As a huge fan of Reggae, I love pretty much everything Damian Marley does, and this song is no exception. Bruno Mars and Damian team up in "Liquor Store Blues," a great hip-hop/reggae tune that's great for kickin it. Make sure you've got the bass to do this song justice.
Teenage Dream(with me)
Hahaha, yess. Thanks to JB for recommending this magnificent post and cheers to this dude for having the balls to post this to the world!
Download Hoodie Allen's new mixtape "Pep Rally" for free!
Hoodie Allen's new mixtape "Pep Ralley" just dropped and it is sick. We've already heard three songs that were leaked off of it earlier, but the rest of the tape is phenomenal too. This is definitely a top 10 mixtape of the year. Download it for free here. Make sure you give it a good listen all the way through, it's a quality piece of work.

Kid Cudi - Dangerous
New Cudder! It's not amazing but hey, it's Kid Cudi and it's chill. A slow, electronic beat with some strange instrumentals. Enjoy!
Sleepy Secrets (DJ JewBoy mashup) feat. Lupe Fiasco, Passion Pit, and Jibbs
DJ JewBoy does a great job with this one. "Sleep Secrets" mashes together Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” with another Passion Pit song “Little Secrets,” Jibbs’ “Chain Hang Low,” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Kick, Push.” He's promoting a new mixtape that is releasing next week called Keepin it Is-Real, Vol. 2 so stay tuned for more on that. Don't forget to comment and/or rate.
Chris Webby - La La La
Yeah it has been out for a while but I don't care. This song is awesome. Great for chillen and kickin it. Can't wait for Webby's next moves. Don't forget you can download his latest mixtape The Underclassman right here at TNS! Check the post archives.
Hoodie Allen -- Swimming With Sharks Ft. VV Brown [Pep Rally]
New Hoodie! This is the third and final leak off of Hoodie Allen's mixtape Pep Rally, which is scheduled for release tomorrow! All three of the leaks have been amazing, so expectations are definitely high for this kid. He's got a solid future ahead if he can keep making tracks like these.

12. | Big Sean - Too Fake ft. Chiddy | Finally Famous Vol. 3
A trippy beat, and a very catchy chorus. Put this on loud speakers and it blasts. The chorus is pretty sick, and with these two guys rapping you know you have a jam. BUMP THIS ONE PLEASE!
-GG
Mike Posner - Please Don't Go
He has a different style than anyone else out. I love this guy, and this is a jam. He doesn't rap anymore but his songs are catchy and you can definitely bump this.

Sam Adams - Some Chords
Great party song. Happy Friday everyone! Throw this one on at your rager and get everyone dancing. This is Track 4 off of Sam Adam's soon-to-be-released mixtape Party Records hosted by DJ Whoo Kid & DJ Cash.
Tor / Sufjan Stevens - Star of Wonder / None Shall Pass (f. Aesop Rock) ...
If you like Aesop Rock, you'll love this song. The lyrics make no sense on the surface but definitely have deeper meaning and evoke pretty crazy images in your mind if you actually picture what he's talking about. It's a dark, kinda trippy tune, but great for chillen out. Enjoy!
Lil Wayne, Drake, Cascada - One More Night (Dj Money Remix)
This one has also been around for a little while but figured it deserves a post regardless. This is a great remix by DJ Money that came out in 2009. Lil Wayne, Drake, and Cascada join forces on the track. Phenomenal pump up song, great for pregames or high-energy parties.

Drake ft Wale & Cascada - "Boy Meets Girl"
More from DJ Pyro's mixtape "Andriod 24." This one takes vocals from Cascada and mashes it with verses by Drake and Wale. I'm not a huge Drake fan in general but this mashup definitely does it for me. Very similar to the last post, which is to say it's a damn good tune.
Lil Wayne ft Wale "Bounce With Me"
This song has been out for a while but it's never too late to post it. This comes off of DJ Pyro's mixtape "Android 24" and features Lil Wayne and Wale. Fantastic little mashup that bumps hard. Turn up the speakers and enjoy!
Carlos Santana Feat. Nas- Back In Black
Definitely not as good as it should be. When I saw the title of this track I thought it would be insane, but it is far from that. Even so, Santana dishes out an impressive solo and at least some of the awesomeness of the original song is preserved. Comment and rate it.
Olu - Broken Dreams
I told you Olu has been making some good music recently. This one samples Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"and adds a solid hip hop vibe to it. It comes off of Olu's latest mixtape Preview 2, which you can download here. Make sure the bass is up.

QC - Popular feat Olu
Great remix. QC teams up with Olu to remake S-Preme's "Popular," which I posted a couple weeks ago. You might recognize the sample from the broadway play Wicked. The beat was produced by Kanye. And of course QC and Olu spit dope verses. Olu has been coming out with a lot of new music recently, including a new mixtape, so stay tuned for more from him.

Kanye West ft Pusha T - Runaway
This just dropped a couple days ago. CDQ version only dropped earlier today. He introduced this one at the VMAs. This song is dark, slow, and serious at the beginning but then you hear the chorus and you can't help but laugh ("Let's have a toast for the douchebags"). I love that Kanye sings on this track too - something you don't see often. Oh, and Pusha T kills his verse. Give this song a good listen on speakers that don't suck. This will probably get taken off YouTube soon so listen to it asap.
